Co-engineering Project Manager

Professional with several years of experience in managing technical projects in close cooperation with customers and with an appetite for sales

FUNCTION

Elytra is looking for a Co-Engineering Project Manager to become a key member of its organisation. You report directly to the General Manager and work in close collaboration with the Sales and Marketing Manager and with the technology providers at OCAS and Econcore. You will take on the responsibility to setup and coordinate the product and application development efforts of the company. Gradually you will be more involved in the full sales process for selective customers and specific markets. You are based in Geel but inherent to your function you can expect to travel frequently.

TASKS

• Coordinate the product and application development efforts of the company
• Manage product testing programs
• Drive co-engineering projects with key customers
• Manage development projects with technology providers and material and machinery suppliers
• Assist the sales efforts of the company through technical information materials, technical presentations and other communication tools
• Conduct technical and marketing feasibility studies on new products and new markets
• Convince customers to integrate Elytra panels in their application. Assist them during this integration phase by steering co-engineering initiatives.
• Business development and lead generation

QUALIFICATIONS 

• You have at least a technical Bachelor’s degree
• You have at least 5 years of experience in managing customer and market oriented product and application development 
• You combine a technical orientation with excellent analytical skills and a strong interest in sales and marketing
• You have strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• You are prepared to travel abroad depending on the needs of your job
• Your English is excellent, your French is good. The knowledge of German is an important asset.
